Halil Savda, CO, was arrested on 7 December, when he attended a trial session in Çorlu Military Court. He was on trial based on "persistent disobedience". Suna Coskun, Halil's lawyer, met him on 7 December in prison. He is well and motivated.
The authorities asked him to wear the prison uniform, which he refused. He is wearing a sweat suit, because they took his trousers and pullover. They furthermore demanded that he shaves his beard and he replied with "not right now". He's not subjected to any mistreatment so far.

The Conscientious Objectors Platform organised an action at the Galatasaray Square on 09.12., Saturday, at 12 AM, in support of Halil.
The next trial session will be on 22.12.2006, 9 AM, at the Corlu Military Court.
