Young Magen David Adom (YMDA) and Israel Connect have invited Col. Richard Kemp, former Commander of British Forces in Afghanistan, to speak at a “A Business Breakfast exclusively for Young Professionals . . . about his experiences in the battlefield and with the IDF [Israel Defence Forces]”.
He shamelessly said at that the UN Human Rights Council debate on the Goldstone Report that: "based on my knowledge and experience, I can say this: during operation Cast Lead, the Israeli Defence Forces did more to safeguard the rights of civilians in the combat zones than any other army in the history of warfare". |

In defiance of the international outcry and the findings of the Goldstone Report, Colonel Kemp denies the wholesale murders by Operation Cast Lead against the people of Gaza. In less than three weeks - December 2008 and January 2009 - the Israeli army killed more than 1,400 Palestinian women, children and men, over 83 percent of whom were civilians, including 342 children, and wounded more than 5,000.
